hi. I'm JD Scott. i'm a Photographic Artist based out of OKC, and I specialize in producing stunning images of Entertainment, Artistic Portraits, Band Promotional & Concert Photos, and Burlesque Show photos.
if there's one thing I know, it's bands. i've been in bands all my life. and i love and live rock n roll. my main goal here is spreading the word about, and visually showcasing, all the great musical talent and beauty coming through the OKC and Tulsa entertainment scenes. I also showcase Local musicians and entertainers in OKC, Tulsa, and now the DFW areas.
Let's see. what's going on right now? i'm a resident artist at one of the hottest galleries in the city, Point A Gallery. i'm multi award-winning, and multi-published, and i'm a really nice guy to be around. i'm a really laid back, art weirdo with an often odd sense of humor, and i get very stoked about myself some times. like this. i just got one of my Promo images of DieTrich Thrall, the bassist of Lords of Acid , used on a Lords of Acid poster on their FB page. my watermark clear as day. right on his New Rock boot. man, what a compliment about my work.
i'm also skilled in Videography, Graphic Design, making Art Books, and I'm also a Drummer. i photograph and promote the bands and artists that I work with all over Facebook and Instagram. i promote the artists and me at the same time. for me and the artists I'm working with, it's a win-win for both of us. if you or your band need more publicity or an extra push into the spotlight, and want your name and image out there to a broader audience, then come see me. let's get together and creatively make some Art out of your band's Image. something people will know you by, for years to come. yeah, i'm that good. and there's this...you know you need those images for your epks. i'll shoot them for you and spread your name and Image all over social media. i'll also publish your photos on this site. i love helping people get noticed. this is what I do, and I do it well. just sayin'. thanks for reading, and hope to work with you soon. let's do the damn thing!
